"📣🎨😍 THE GALLERIES ARE LIVE!
5 Free Little Art Galleries (FLAGs) are now out in the beautiful city of North Bay.
Here are the wonderful places they currently call home:

🍭 Bins and Bins - Bulk & Health Foods
🫒 Olive and Oak
💐 Rose Bowl Florist 2.0 & Flower Delivery
These accessible, inclusive, indoor display boxes are interactive micro-galleries for micro-sized artworks; Inspired by the "Free Little Libraries" concept of freestanding structures that offer books with a "take one and/or leave one" policy... But, make it art instead. ✨️
At these galleries, please feel free to:
1. Take artworks. 2. Leave artworks. 3. Admire artworks. or 4. Any combination of the above.
🌈 Pieces could include, but are not limited to, small creations in many mediums: poetry, clay, photography, painting, drawing, bracelet making or other jewellery, collage, upcycle pieces, origami, mixed media positivity cards, needle felted works, crochet, embroidery, and more. No cost. Just connection. Art is for everyone... To make. To own. To view. To share. To enjoy.
🥰 The artworks initially filling the libraries were created by students at the Laurentian Learning Centre, community members who attended our open arts sessions at Northern Flow Studio, and other local artists.
NOTE: North Bay Public Library and Near North Makerspace max piece size is 8"x8" • preference is smaller than that. Bins and Bins - Bulk & Health Foods Olive and Oak Rose Bowl Florist 2.0 & Flower Delivery max piece size is 6.5"x6.5" • preference is smaller than that.
ALSO: If you post online about any art you've dropped off or pieces you've taken with you, we would love to be tagged!
🧡 We aim for all who engage with the galleries to be empowered to share their unique creativity and to see their own voices, ideas, and visions reflected publicly; while simultaneously having the opportunity to be moved, inspired, entertained, and uplifted by the pieces they encounter.
